Always store bowsaws vertically, preferably with the tension on the blade released, to prolong blade life. Good ‘pegs’ can be made out of sections of disused water pipe, especially those sections with an elbow. Use a large hammer drill (hire if necessary), to drill holes as deep as possible into the wall, and then hammer in pegs.
Hang spare bowsaw blades on a nail or peg. Spare blades can be safely transported into the field in a section of rigid plastic water pipe with a push-fit stopper.
Old and broken blades can also be brought back in it for safe disposal. Check contents regularly to ensure you have sufficient spares.
