Dune profiling and stabilisation

This chapter covers techniques of re-contouring dunes using machines, the construction of wave barriers and sand-trap fencing, and the use of thatching, mulching and binding to stabilise unvegetated surfaces. For the principles of dune stabilisation see Chapter 2 – Management Planning.
